Frequently Asked Questions

If the product was damaged during shipping

Due to the fragile nature of the pottery we sell, we use shipping methods with insurance (Japan: Yu-Pack / International: EMS, Surface Mail) to ensure our customers can shop with peace of mind.
Damage during shipping is covered by Japan Post's damage compensation system, but you must complete the procedures within the deadline to receive compensation.
Please read the following and complete the necessary procedures.

[Domestic Customers (Yu-Pack)]
1. If you notice damage to the product, please report the damage to your local post office or Japan Post Customer Service Center (0120-23-28-86) within 2 weeks of receipt.
2. Please do not dispose of the damaged product, packaging box, or cushioning material and store them as they are, as the post office will inspect them.
3. Please also contact us by email (we will cooperate with the post office investigation).

[International Customers (EMS・Surface Mail)]
1. If you notice damage to the product, please promptly report the damage to the post office in your country (the postal service that handled the delivery).
Reporting to the local post office by the recipient themselves is a prerequisite for compensation.
2. Please keep the damaged product, packaging box, and cushioning material as they are.
3. Please also contact us by email.
We will request an investigation from Japan Post (the deadline for requesting an investigation is within 6 months from the shipping date).
[Caution]
If you do not complete the procedures within the above deadline, you will not be able to receive compensation from Japan Post, and we regret to inform you that we will not be able to send a replacement product or issue a refund.
Please check the condition of the product as soon as possible upon delivery.
